James Argent will be returning to TOWIE this evening after having some time off to get over some personal issues in rehab.

James was noticeably absent from the last series leaving his on/off love interest without many story lines, leaving the ‘leading lovers’ role to Chloe Sims and Elliot Wright.

The ‘Large Arg’ we are all used to cuts a leaner, healthier looking figure on his recent Twitter posts, and he even has a bit of a tan from his recent trip to America. After a stint in rehab over the Christmas period, it is clear from a clip of tonight episode showing Arg emotionally explaining to Lydia he presumed getting her back would solve all of his problems.

After admitting in a recent episode she met someone on her travels in Thailand, Lydia has thrown down another obstacle in Arg’s ongoing conquest.

The boys on the other hand, could’t be happier to see their pal back on the screens with them. Tommy Mallet posted the above picture to Instagram with the caption “Looking forward to being back on screen with the OG tonight”.

Whatever is in store for Arg, it’s clear that if he really does still want Lydia back, he has his work cut out for him.
