Frankie Essex returned to TOWIE last night in a shock twist, to give some much needed advice to Chloe on how to sort out the warring Sims clan. The reality star, 27, and older sister of Joey Essex was a firm favourite with TOWIE fans for her fair and mature advice to co-stars.

Frankie hasn’t been seen on our screens for just over a year, and with her little brother leaving to pursue other projects it’s no wonder the star wanted a well needed break.

In November, the Daily Mail reported how she had lost two stone in 8 weeks, saying that filming ‘TOWIE’ had always ruined her diet plans. Frankie has always been a firm favourite with fans, and has had her fair share of hilarious scenes including throwing an entire bowl of punch over Jamie Reed, and having her boobs massaged while Lauren Pope looked on.

Last night Frankie, who turned up to help Chloe sort out her feud with her brother Charlie Sims tweeted ‘Surpriseeeee’ during the show when she was shown in scenes.

Fans of the show had a very popular reaction, and Frankie re-tweeted many messages showing support for her arrival back on the show.
