Sir Elton John has embarrassingly been caught in LA with a Dolce & Gabbana bag. Just one day after the the singer called for all of his fans to boycott Dolce & Gabbana for their comments about IVF children, he was seen entering the studio with the brands classic shopping bag.

Although his spokesman has said “Yes he was seen carrying the bag, but he hadn’t been shopping, and it should not detract from the original message”, it is still a massive gaffe for the singer, who earlier this week called on fans to boycott Dolce & Gabban after their comments that IVF babies were “chemical children” and you were “born with a father and mother”.

Maybe Elton could be a bit more picky when he is browsing through his carrier bag cupboard, and now knows the feeling we all have when we try and avoid that cheap breakable poundshop one and opt for the smart green Marks & Spencers number.

He chastised Dolce & Gabbana for referring to his children as ‘synthetic’, and called for all of his followers to #BoycottDolceandGabbana on Sunday.

Elton and his partner David Furnish have two children by IVF, and the singer took the designers, who are themselves gay, comments to heart and took to social media to make his point.
