I just couldn’t get it out of my head. No matter how many times I told myself not to say it, I could NOT stop saying “the horse I voted for”. Newmarket were lucky to have me that day, were they not? After this little taste of live sporting events, I wanted more. But guess what happened? Coronavirus! Luckily now though, things are starting to get back to normal, and I for one will be getting stuck right back in to live sporting events. Here are a couple of tips for making the most out of those all-important first sporting events back.
Book a hospitality package
The thing about me is, I like a little bit of luxury. If you are a fan of live sport and you haven’t been able to go for a while, why NOT treat yourself? Booking a hospitality package with someone like Autumn Internationals Hospitality means that you can get those little extras to make the day special like drinks, food and live music. I especially like hospitality packages if you are going to the event for a special occasion like a birthday or anniversary.
Get tickets early
Due to the fact sporting events have been closed for a bit, it’s highly likely there will be a higher demand for tickets, and this is going to be especially true for the first few major events happening once lockdown is over. Tickets are on sale now for most of the major sporting events occurring before the end of the year, so if you are planning on attending it is well-worth starting to think about getting your tickets now.
Try something new
When I went to Newmarket, I had honestly never been to, never watched, or never bet on a horse race before. I ended up enjoying the day and being quite surprised at that. Sure, you might have one or two sports that you are in to, but after having been cooped up inside for just over a year, why not branch out? The great thing about live sporting events is that they have a great atmosphere, and even if you don’t particularly like the sport you will still enjoy the day.
Love to know your thoughts guys?
